My Ballerina Project
I took these pictures of my amazing cousin while camping near Moab, UT on August 5, 2011. She was so patient to go leaping through the wild brush [and cow pies!] for me to take picture after picture of her. She is so gorgeous and talented! It was amazing to watch her move. I love that each of these pictures are so unique with light and movement. I took many pictures of her dancing, here are just a few of my favorites:

Look What I Found!
Before:
My neighbor asked me to help her with her yard, as you can see, it's a little out of control. I went over the other day to just weed a little and find the edge of her garden....
After:
And I found a rock path!
I seriously had no idea it was under there just from walking on it, er on the weeds, that is. Isn't this path so neat? I love the rocks that she used. Now I'm so excited to do the rest of the yard to see what else is hidden!

4th of July
We went to a parade,
it was really hot.
And then we went to a BBQ
and there were stuffed jalepenos
that weren't spicey
(because I'm a baby).
I helped a friend make a really cute bunting
for her awesome July 4th party,
She inspired me.
I decided our own BBQ that evening
needed one too.
Made out of construction paper, of course.
The 4th of July is like Christmas for me.
I love it.
I get so excited to just play all day long
with my family and friends.
I spent an hour filling up water balloons before the party,
for some light after dinner entertainment.
And we finished off the night with a nice round of
Vanilla ice cream
covered in fresh Peaches and Blueberries.
And sparklers.
Those are my favorite.

The Barrel of Blogs
Need something fun to read? (Something other than my blog? I know, hard to believe) The Barrel has their June issue out, and it's full of good stuff. I really enjoyed their ideas for summer fun, instructions for making a fabric map of the US, and all the summer cooking recipes... go ahead, curb your curiosity:
