It's a Bean

My mom was in town last week and we decided to go check out the Arboretum. It was, by the way, amazing. We discovered they have a ton of fun things going on, including the children's learning center. The day we went they were learning about seeds and sprouts, so we got to plant our very own bean in a little plastic bubble thingy. And do you know what? It sprouted. It was looking a bit too big for it's britches, so today little g and I transferred it to a real pot.

Keep growing, little bean! Or should we say, big bean?
This guy is only a week and a half old! Maybe he'll make it to our garden this spring....

  1. Ooooh! That's so neat. I started a similar thing with my nephew two weeks ago and it had barely started to sprout...but they went to Texas for a week and I am afraid it will be dead now! I'll be going to babysit him tomorrow and hope we can resurrect it.

I'm following from the Minnesota Bloggers group over at Bloggy Moms.
