Pizza Night

The super secret ingredient
to make a pizza taste absolutely amazing

Believe me, I would know.
Just read the first paragraph on my side bar.
See? I told ya.

I'm not usually the meat pizza lover, but the sausage on my regular pizza has my heart completely for the time being.  I was on a garlic chicken, tomato, and artichoke heart kick for a while.... but the tables have turned. It all started when Aunt E ordered us a pizza for my birthday, and I couldn't stop eating it because is was so amazing. I realized that it had sausage on it. (It also had green olives, but I am fairly confident that they were not the secret flavor here- bleh to olives.) So, what's on the menu tonight? Pizza. With everything  on it (sausage, red onion, green pepper, spinach, pepperoni, tomato, mozzarella, asiago, garlic, green onion, tomato sauce, fresh basil, and parsley). Except for olives. I don't ever have those in my fridge.

Easy Pizza Dough Recipe:

1 cup of warm water (105F)
1 teaspoon of yeast
3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 teaspoons of honey (or sugar)
1 teaspoon of salt

Mix ingredients, Knead for 8-10 minutes, and let rise 30 mins.
Punch down, form pizza crust
Layer on sauce and desired toppings

Bake 20 minutes @ 425 degrees Fahrenheit
Yield: One regular sized pizza, 3-4 servings.

  1. Sounds yummy-minus all the vegetables! Who eats red peppers, onions, and spinach on a pizza?
