Veiled Lady

I guess I have to preface this post by telling you 

this is definitely not something I created with my hands... 

but other people certainly did... that counts, right?

Well,

we finally made it to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts

A gorgeous building with so much inside

I might have to go back three 

or seventeen more times to soak it all in

This was my hubbys favorite piece- the mustache rocks all

Rewind to last week.... I was randomly thinking about this sculpture one evening and decided to research it and learn where it is from, etc. I had seen it in movies and pictures, and I love it. In my searching I discovered that the original piece [THE REAL THING] was being held at a museum only a couple of minutes from my house all along! WHAT. Of course we had to go right away! I never could have expected to be able to actually see the real sculpture, I just wanted to know more about it. It was truly an amazing experience for me. 

Needless to say, it made my day.
