T-shirt rug

I've been saving all our old t-shirts

and finally got them all crocheted into a rug!

I made it as a house warming gift for a friend,

and I really love how bright and colorful it turned out.

I used that big honkin' blue crochet hook and

started crocheting in the middle of the rug.

I did a single crochet stitch all the way around,

working toward the outside edge.

Occasionally I did two SC stitches in one SC space

on the ends so it didn't end up bowl-shaped.

I love it!
