Has it really been a week since I posted last? Yikes. There has been alot going on around here, there's so much to catch up on! Spring is finally making it's way into town, so I was able to plant some flowers the other day. I got a blister on my thumb from the shovel because I was working so long. It made me feel tough. Or wimpy, because it hurt. I've also been working on a sweet little dress for Miss G for my sisters wedding. It's so pretty, I can't wait to take pictures of her all dressed up with her cute little cousins.

I've also been working on some other pretties for the wedding... I'm going to keep you in suspense and do the big reveal of these projects to show you after the wedding day. Don't worry, it's only a couple weeks.

We went and saw some baby chickens over Easter break. We've been talking about how fun it would be to raise some chickens someday when we grow up and have a house/ land of our own. Hubby's Grandma was a pro, her husband gave her 400 chickens as a wedding gift. Lucky Girl! I think she would be a good "go-to gal" if we had any questions. I am thinking it would be really fun until one of the poor things die, then I would just be sad and it wouldn't be fun anymore. I wouldn't really know what to do because for me the chicken that you cook comes from the freezer section, not the backyard.
