That Really Bad Feeling...

I have to admit that as a mom, I felt a brand new feeling today.

I would also like to admit that
it wasn't completely my fault
just to get that out there.

Someone gave the toddler scissors to cut her paper
(because she is going to be a world famous artist one day, of course),
and then a couple of grown up someones went into the kitchen to prepare dinner together.

The result:

You see, she really is very proud of her work:

And that new feeling that I felt today?

It was the sad sad feeling of horror
that as a hairstylist my child is going to be the one
with the ugly hair.

Out of all the kids, the hairstylists daughter

is going to be rockin' some
pretty sweet baby bangs for the next little while

  1. hahahaha! Oh my goodness. Don't worry becky, it's like a rite of passage, every kid has to do it. I did it multiple times all the way up to 4th grade (although that one wasn't on purpose, I panicked). She'll rock that hair style.

  4. Yikes! Haha, kids are so crazy! I'm actually jealous, those baby bangs are so cute right now but I don't think I could pull them off. :)
